Badminton continues to be a popular and successful sport across the age groups, in both recreational and competitive capacity.
The lower school practice on Monday evenings is always busy, under the tutelage of Mr Owen while both Lower and Middle school teams have represented the school at their respective Area Championships.
While the middle school team could not quite replicate the success of the previous year’s County Champions, the lower school team, led by Jack Outterside, showed real promise. With a comparatively young team who won the Area Finals, going on to compete at the County Finals and only narrowly lost out on further progression.
This young team will now move on together and have real potential to go on to bigger and better things, they are an exciting prospect and one to keep an eye on.
