Football is played throughout the school with the 1st XI playing in the Wiltshire Schools’ FA and English Schools’ FA Trophy competitions as well as the Wiltshire Schools' U18 League.

The 1st XI squad, which includes boys from the Sixth Form and Y11, receives specialist coaching from a UEFA B qualified coach.

The 1st XI won the Wiltshire Schools County Trophy in 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 and the inaugural Wiltshire County League in 2014, 2015 & 2016 to become the first "triple double" winners of these competitions. This year the team also reached the last 64 of the national ESFA trophy loosing to the eventual runners up
