Unfortunately the yr 9’s were unable to replicate the success of last years’ yr 9’s as Bradon Forest once again pipped us to the post.

The running order was not in our favour as we met Bradon in the second game and so our inexperience was highlighted as we were unable to get some good court time over the other schools beforehand. Having said that we defended much better and the score after 18 minutes was a miserly 8-2 to Bradon, their lowest score all tournament.

With three wins out of four (10-6) v Sheldon, (12-10) v St. Augustines and our strongest performance in our final game v St. John’s (22-10) we finished a worthy second.

A good day and a great way to learn so much more about the game.
