BWS U15 109-42 v Millfield School (Somerset)

Having had the disappointment of narrowly losing to Bristol Met is was great to be playing at home and having a chance to play some good Basketball. This is exactly what we did right from the opening tip. Millfield could not cope with our high tempo defence which forced lots of turnovers which in turn led to some excellent fast break points.

It was 27-8 at the end of the first and Millfields best player was left trying to do it all. Joe Tully ran the show at Point where he got into the paint regularly and either scored himself or dished to Boxer who was unstoppable under the boards.

Gavin Martin played with confidence and finished with a team high 21. Jake Watson had a great game off the bench with a bundle of steals and a nice 14 points.

We still have a chance to win the pool if we can beat Winterbourne Academy.
