This friendly was a great opportunity to give the bench players from each respective age group a confidence boosting run out. Both teams were very tentative at the start as they tried to establish what the level of play was going to be like.
Rory Stewart got things underway with a nicely worked basket which would be one of many that led to him finishing with 14. George got the fans into an early frenzy as he followed straight up with a big 3. The game quickly became very one sided as Stonehenge struggled to deal with our defence which led to many turnovers.
James Benson had his first outing on the hardwood and he looked like he was meant to be there as he coolly sank a 16 foot baseline jump shot. Joe Tully finished with a game high 16 as he bewildered his defenders with some 'killer' crossovers. Matt Coombes will forever be the talking point though as he dislocated his finger after his huge chase down block!!
