This evenly contested but hard fought match ended in a nil all draw and came down to an exciting penalty shootout.

The first round of penalties ended 0-0. Lewis Rutledge was successful with second spot kick and, following another save from Monty George, Callum Hodge drove his shot home to put Bishop’s 2-0 ahead.

Marling School scored with their third penalty but Liam Dance converted Bishop’s fourth penalty leaving Marling School needing to score to keep their hopes alive. Monty George saved to put Bishop’s through to the next round.

Monty and the defence were excellent throughout the match and again Monty George was the hero of a penalty shootout with three saves.
