Wyvern School 2-2 BWS U12

The U12s had their first outing of the new season with little preparation due to the poor weather the previous weeks.

The team took on a strong Wyvern team with some talented players in their attacking line. Despite this BWS went 1-0 up from a corner diverted into his own net by the Wyvern right back. This was how it stayed for a long while until the second half when with BWS napping Wyvern stole the initiative and scored two very good goals.

BWS responded with an excellent solo finish from Covil, before Waters blasted over the bar from the spot. With the game tied at 2-2 there was only one team pushing for a win as the blues poured players forward drawing a string of saves from the Wyvern keeper, including one which resulted in him having to go off for treatment.

In the end the draw was a fair but disappointing result as BWS could have had more out of the game. A learning curve ready for the next one with plenty still to work on.
