BWS U12A 22-0 Bournemouth School (Dorset)

A heavy frost forced us to delay the kick-off on Saturday. The Pavilion cast a cold shadow across the pitch which forced us to narrow it and avoid the hard stuff.

The boys were very keen to play despite the snappy December morning and they got off to a fantastic start with another 2 scrum half sneaks from Luke Duckett. There were unfortunately mistakes a plenty due to cold hands and a slippery ball. We played well but didn’t quite have the clinical finishing to cap off some free flowing running rugby. Eventually it did all click for a great team try just before the half.

The second period was more of the same really but Rory Lloyd-Jones interception and sprint down the parent clad touchline was a thrill for all as he escaped a desperate attempt to stop him before he touched down under the posts.

A great way to finish the Yr 7’s first year of Bishops’ rugby.
