Two teams from Bishops were in attendance at this event put on by Simon Woodhouse from the Wiltshire and Swindon Schools Partnership and hosted by Salisbury Rugby Club. The event was also run by an excellent team of C.S.L.A students from the Bishops Sixth Form.
Under the floodlights one was clearly able to see the driving rain that fell on the proceedings!! This did not affect the play of the yr 7’s though as both sides ran rings around the teams from Trafalgar, Wyvern, St. Joseph’s, Avon Valley, Stonehenge and Wellington Academy.
This was not to say that we had it all our own way as there were plenty of boys known to our lads from their involvement in the Club rugby played in and around Salisbury. A combination of structure, decision making, power and pace from our boys saw them play some fantastic, free flowing rugby despite the horrendous conditions
It was a great way for the Yr 7’s to cap off their first season at Bishop’s
