Once again the BWS boys put in a resilient performance against another tough team, while they themselves had 6 players watching from the sideline. 8-0 down at half time could have easily been 8-8 with a try held up and a penalty sliding agonisingly wide of the uprights.

Canford in the second half however began to play more to their strengths and changed their game plan. With nothing coming through the middle and again the BWS defence providing little opportunity for the Canford back line they kept it tight and scored two forward dominated trys.

Canford made comment to the contest posed by BWS as this team is unbeaten in three years of block fixtures, some comfort in another gutsy performance that again just came up short, but keeps the team moving in a positive direction towards Kingswood next weekend.
