The BWS senior tennis team once again produced a dominant display in their last 64 match against a well organised Beechen Cliff team. The match was highly entertaining with some lovely tennis from both teams.
The top three all won their singles rubbers with just three games dropped, while debutant Will Miles came unstuck in his. Despite his singles loss Will produced a solid doubles display alongside Benson to win 6-2. Barry and Rident went 4-1 up before a resilient fight back from Beechen saw them at 5-5, before BWS took the win 7-5. A great match played in the spirit it should.
The boys now play Millfield in the last 32 nationally and are two matches away from the finals in Bolton.
